I fell in love with the idea of open source back in 2006 when I discovered a wealth of amazing software like WordPress and MediaWiki.  In 2008 I took the plunge to run a Linux desktop environment for my main work and home computers, and I was hooked.  Through this blog I hope to narrate my further open source adventures and document my successes so that other noobs like me can find their way.
